Cookie Statement

Last updated: 6th August 2026

This Cookie Statement (“Statement”) applies to our websites, applications (collectively “Platform(s)”) and email communications.

Hausvalley Private Limited (“Hausvalley.com”) uses cookies, trackers, scripts, and social media buttons (collectively, “Technologies”) on our Platforms to help us deliver a better, faster, and more secure experience. These Technologies are also placed by third parties engaged by Hausvalley.com.

This Statement explains what Technologies we use and why. The use of Technologies may lead to processing of personal data. See our Privacy Policy to learn more about how we process personal data, including our use of third-party providers. If you have questions about our use of Technologies or the protection of your personal data, contact us at support@hausvalley.com.

When you first visit our Platforms from a device, our cookie banner will appear, where you can accept all Technologies or select your settings. You can always change your cookie settings later via the manage-your-preferences section on the Platform. Blocking some types of Technologies may affect your experience and the Services we can provide.

Manage your preferences

We always store Technologies on your device that are necessary for the basic functionality of our Services, as well as those used to enable and maintain the proper functioning of our Platform. Clicking “Necessary Only” on the cookie banner closes it and sets only such necessary Technologies. For all other types of Technologies, we ask your permission for each different purpose. Some Technologies are placed by third-party providers that appear on our pages. Disabling certain Technologies may affect your experience on our Platforms.

Why do we use these Technologies?

We place cookies, trackers, and scripts for different purposes: necessary, functional, analytical, and personalised (targeting and advertising) purposes.

1. Necessary Technologies

These Technologies are necessary for our Platforms and their features to function properly — the Services you request cannot be provided without them. We also use them to keep our Platform secure by monitoring and alerting on potential cyber-attacks and fraudulent activity, and to monitor performance, detect technical problems, and verify improvements without interfering with core functionality. You can set your browser to block or warn about these Technologies, but some parts of our Platform (for example, adding items to an order or checkout) may not work properly if you do so.

2. Functional Technologies

These Technologies allow the Platforms to remember choices you make for better functionality and personalisation — for example, your preferred language, or address and other details entered on order forms. Information collected through these Technologies is not used for marketing purposes.

3. Analytical Technologies

These Technologies, including statistics, help us understand how visitors interact with the Platforms so we can measure and improve performance — for example, tracking which pages are visited most and how you navigate the Platform.

4. Personalised (targeting and advertising) Technologies

These marketing Technologies tailor the information delivered to you based on your interests and measure the effectiveness of advertisements, on our Platforms and our advertising partners’ websites, so we can offer relevant offers and discounts. We analyse, among other things, how often you use our Platforms and which Services you interact with. We also use trackers to verify your visits to advertiser websites, which is relevant for paying advertisers for users who visit our Platforms via their platform or place an order with us.

What Technologies do we use?

We use various Technologies for data collection: scripts, trackers, cookies, pixels, web beacons, SDKs, social media buttons, and similar technologies.

Script

A piece of program code used to make our Platforms work properly and interactively, executed on your device or on our servers.

Tracker

A small, invisible piece of text or image used to map traffic on our Platforms. We use several trackers, each storing different types of data; third parties may also place trackers on our Platforms.

Cookies

A small text file sent from our Platforms and stored by your browser on your device. Some cookies only connect your activities during a single visit; others remain on your device and are sent back to our (or a third party’s) servers on future visits. We use:

  • First-party cookies — our own cookies, set or retrieved only when you visit our Platforms.
  • Third-party cookies — cookies sent to your device from a domain not managed by us, but by another entity that processes any data obtained through them.

Pixel

A small, nearly invisible pixel-sized graphic on our Platforms that links your visit to the provider of the pixel — for example, social platforms like Facebook. A pixel provider can follow your browsing behaviour across other sites that have implemented a similar pixel or social media button.

Web beacon

A technique used to check what content you have accessed, helping us understand your user journey through the Platform.

SDK

A software development kit — tools provided by hardware and software providers that our developers use to build and integrate our apps with their services, such as the iOS SDK, the Java Development Kit, or the Cloud SDK for Google Cloud.

Social media buttons

Small pieces of software (or “plug-ins”) that link your visit to a third-party social media platform, used to promote or share content on networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or YouTube. These buttons run on code from the social media platform itself and collect information about your social media interaction with us, such as whether you have an account with, or are logged into, the platform. This information may be linked to targeting and advertising activities. We have no influence over how these social media parties use your personal data — they may collect it for their own purposes. Platforms we use most often include Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter; please refer to each platform’s own privacy and cookie policy for details.

Technologies are either persistent or session-based. Persistent Technologies are stored on your device with an expiration date and are renewed if you revisit; session-based Technologies are placed when you reach the Platform and deleted immediately after you leave.

Security of your data with us and with third parties

Security at Hausvalley.com

We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate precautions against loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unjustified changes. If you believe your data is not properly protected, or there are indications of misuse, contact us at support@hausvalley.com.

Third-party Technologies

We use third-party Technologies to help achieve the objectives described in this Statement. We aim not to allow third parties to use your data for their own purposes or purposes inconsistent with this Statement, and remain responsible for the processing of your personal data by third parties on our behalf, including providers such as Google, Bing, Facebook, and Twitter. Each third party is solely responsible for its own use and processing of your personal data — for example, targeted marketing on their own platforms. Refer to each provider’s own privacy policy to learn how they process your data.

What are your rights?

Enabling, disabling, and deleting Technologies

Except for necessary Technologies, we only use Technologies with your active consent, given via our cookie consent banner on your first visit. You can adjust your preferences at any time via the manage-your-preferences section on the Platform. Necessary Technologies (including some scripts and cookies) cannot be deactivated.

When you delete Technologies from your device, we may not always know that you have withdrawn consent — we recommend changing or withdrawing consent directly on our Platform instead. If you use multiple browsers, you will need to manage your preferences separately in each, as they are specific to each browser instance.

Your personal data rights

Where the use of Technologies on our Platforms involves processing your personal data, you can exercise the rights provided under applicable data protection law. These rights are listed in our Privacy Policy. To exercise them, contact us at support@hausvalley.com. For prevention of abuse, we may ask you to identify yourself appropriately.

Questions and complaints

If you have questions or complaints regarding this Statement, contact us at support@hausvalley.com.

Conclusion

We may update this Statement from time to time in response to changing legal, technical, or business developments, and reserve the right to amend it at any time. The revised Statement takes effect upon posting. If you are not happy with a revised Statement, you can alter your preferences and delete Technologies, or consider stopping use of our Platforms. We encourage you to periodically review this Statement, and keep prior versions in an archive for your reference.
