Hausvalley Private Limited (Hausvalley.com) and its affiliates (collectively, “Hausvalley Private Limited”, “we” or “us”) are engaged in the business of providing web-based solutions to facilitate connections between customers that seek specific services and service partners that offer these services. This Policy outlines our practices in relation to the collection, storage, usage, processing, and disclosure of personal data that you have consented to share with us when you access, use, or otherwise interact with our website or mobile application “Hausvalley.com” (collectively, the “Platform”) or avail products or services that Hausvalley.com offers you on or through the Platform (collectively, the “Services”). In this Policy, the services offered to you by service partners on or through the Platform are referred to as “Professional Services”.
At Hausvalley.com, we are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. Please read this Policy in consonance with our Terms and Conditions. By using the Services, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by this Policy and consent to the processing activities described under this Policy.
1. Overview
(a) How this Policy applies
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, storage, usage, and disclosure of your personal data, as described in and collected by us in accordance with this Policy.
(b) Review and updates
We regularly review and update our Privacy Policy, and we request you to regularly review this Policy. It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please let us know if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.
(c) Third-party services
The Platform may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, services, and applications (“Third-Party Services”). Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We neither control nor endorse these Third-Party Services and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave the Platform or access third-party links through the Platform, we encourage you to read the privacy policy of such third-party service providers.
2. Personal data we collect from customers / users
We collect different types of personal data about you. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Contact Data — your mailing or home address, location, email addresses, and mobile numbers.
- Identity and Profile Data — your name, username or similar identifiers, photographs, and gender.
- Marketing and Communications Data — your address, email address, information posted in service requests, offers, wants, feedback, comments, pictures and discussions in our blog and chat boxes, responses to user surveys and polls, your preferences in receiving marketing communications, and your communication preferences. We also collect your chat and call records when you communicate with service professionals through the Platform.
- Technical Data — your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, operating system details, access time, page views, device ID and type, frequency of visiting the Platform, activity, clicks, date and time stamps, location data, and other technology on the devices you use to access the Platform.
- Transaction Data — details of the Services or Professional Services you have availed, a limited portion of your credit or debit card details provided to us by payment processors, and UPI IDs for processing payments.
- Usage Data — how you use the Services and Professional Services, your activity on the Platform, booking history, taps and clicks, interests, time spent on the Platform, user journey on the mobile application, and page views.
We also collect, use, and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data under law, as it does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. However, if we combine aggregated data with your personal data so that it can identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data in accordance with this Policy.
Where we need to collect personal data by law or under the terms of a contract and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract (for example, to provide you with the Services). In this case, we may have to cancel or limit your access to the Services.
3. Data we collect from service partners
We may collect the following categories of personal data from you:
- Identity and Contact Information — full name, phone number, email ID, residential address, government-issued ID proofs (such as Aadhaar, PAN, driver’s license), and profile photographs.
- Professional and Business Information — service category, certifications, licenses, training records, bank account details, UPI IDs, work history, skill details, tools and equipment used.
- Background Verification Data — criminal history, address verification, police verification reports, and references.
- Communication Data — chat and call records with customers (where applicable), feedback and rating data, support communications.
- Financial Data — transaction records, payments received, refunds issued, and tax-related information.
- Photographs, videos, and other content — provided voluntarily or collected during the use of our Platform for business verification or training.
4. How we collect personal data from customers / users
(a) Direct interactions
You provide us with personal data when you:
- create an account or profile with us;
- use our Services or carry out other activities in connection with the Services;
- enter a promotion, user poll, or online survey;
- request marketing communications to be sent to you; or
- report a problem with the Platform and/or our Services, give us feedback, or contact us.
(b) Automated technologies
Each time you visit the Platform or use the Services, we automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns using cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, server logs, and other similar technologies. We may also receive Technical Data about you if you visit other websites or apps that employ our cookies.
(c) Third parties or publicly available sources
- Technical data from analytics providers such as Facebook and advertising networks;
- Identity, profile, and Contact Data from service partners and publicly available sources; and
- Personal data about you from our affiliate entities.
5. How we collect data from service partners
During onboarding and profile creation
When you register with us as a service partner, we collect personal and professional details you provide at onboarding, including your name, contact number, address, government-issued identification documents, photographs, bank details for payments, and professional qualifications or experience certificates. These details help us verify your identity, create your profile, and confirm your eligibility to offer services to customers.
Through background verification partners
For safety and compliance, we may share limited information (such as identification details and contact information) with authorized third-party background verification agencies, which may validate your identity, criminal record (if any), employment history, or address. This ensures the trustworthiness and reliability of every service partner onboarded on our platform.
From your usage of our app and web portal
As you interact with our mobile application or website, we automatically collect data on your activities, including login details, location data (when services are being delivered), transaction history, communication with customers, and preferences. This helps us improve your experience, monitor service quality, and provide personalized recommendations or support.
Via feedback or ratings provided by customers
We collect information indirectly through customer feedback, reviews, and ratings shared after a service is completed, including comments about your behavior, punctuality, service quality, and professionalism, used to maintain service standards, resolve disputes, and identify opportunities for growth.
Through periodic training or audit sessions
From time to time, we conduct training sessions, workshops, or audits, during which we may collect data on your participation, assessments, skill evaluations, or feedback, enabling us to design better training programs and maintain consistent quality standards.
6. How we use customers / users personal data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use your personal data where we need to provide you with the Services, enable you to use the Professional Services, or comply with a legal obligation, including to:
- verify your identity to register you as a user and create your account;

- enable the provision of Professional Services to you;

By using our Services and creating an account, you authorise us, our service professionals, associate partners, and affiliates to contact you via email, phone, or otherwise, to provide the Services and keep you informed of related features.
Any information pertaining to you, whether or not you directly provide it to us, may be collected, compiled, and shared by us to render the Services — including with service professionals, vendors, social media companies, third-party service providers, storage providers, data analytics providers, consultants, lawyers, and auditors, and with other entities in the Hausvalley Private Limited group for the purposes described above.
We may share data without your consent where required by law or by a court or government authority. Such disclosures are made in good faith and in the belief that they are reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy or our Terms, or to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
7. How we use service partners data
- To verify your identity and credentials — we use your personal details and submitted documents to confirm your identity, validate your qualifications, and ensure you meet the required eligibility standards.
- To register you as a Service Partner — your information is processed to create and maintain your profile on our app and web portal, making you discoverable to customers.
- To facilitate delivery of Professional Services — we use your data to match you with customer requests, share booking details, and enable smooth service delivery.
- To communicate assignments, bookings, and updates — your contact details help us notify you of new assignments, schedule changes, reminders, and important updates.
- To transfer earnings and process payments — we use your bank details or preferred payment information to ensure secure and timely settlement of your earnings.
- To maintain quality assurance and user satisfaction — customer feedback, ratings, and performance records are monitored to ensure consistent service quality.
- To manage customer support and resolve complaints — we use your data to investigate, respond to, and resolve disputes.
- To carry out internal training and performance assessments — your participation and performance data is used to enhance skills and evaluate service standards.
- To ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations — we process and store relevant data to comply with applicable laws and taxation requirements.
- To send safety, compliance, and operational updates — your contact information enables us to send alerts, policy changes, or safety guidelines that affect your work.
- To protect the integrity and security of our Platform — we use your data to detect fraud, prevent misuse, and maintain platform safety and reliability for all users.
8. Disclosures of customer / user personal data
We may share your personal data with third parties for the purposes set out in Section 4:
- Service professionals, to enable them to provide you with Professional Services;
- Internal third parties — other companies within the Hausvalley Private Limited group;
- External third parties such as trusted associate partners and service providers (hosting and operating the Platform, marketing assistance, conducting our business, processing payments, transmitting content, and providing our Services); analytics and advertising providers that conduct web analytics to help us improve the Platform; other registered users, upon your request or explicit consent; and regulators and other bodies, as required by law.
We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process it for specified purposes, in accordance with our instructions.
9. Sharing and disclosure of service partner data
(a) With customers
To enable them to identify and contact you for service fulfillment. Your basic profile information, such as name, photograph, and contact details, may be shared with customers to coordinate and complete service bookings.
(b) With internal Hausvalley.com teams
For operational and support purposes — our internal teams may access your data to assign bookings, monitor service quality, resolve issues, and provide necessary partner support.
(c) With third-party service providers
- Background check agencies — to verify your identity, criminal record, and address before onboarding.
- Payment processors — to securely process transactions and transfer your earnings.
- Training vendors — to deliver skill development, workshops, or performance enhancement programs.
- Insurance or safety compliance partners — to provide coverage, manage risks, and ensure workplace safety standards.
(d) With legal or regulatory authorities
If required by law, we may disclose your data to government bodies, law enforcement, or regulators when necessary to comply with legal, taxation, or safety obligations.
10. Location tracking of service partner
In some cases, we may collect real-time location data to:
- Assign jobs based on proximity — to match you with customer requests in your nearby area, ensuring quicker job assignments and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure service delivery standards — to monitor whether services are being delivered at the customer’s location on time and as per platform standards.
- Enable customers to track service status — your live location may be shared with customers so they can track your arrival and plan accordingly.
Permission and control
Location tracking is enabled only with your explicit consent. You may choose to disable it at any time, but this could affect your ability to receive bookings or impact the overall functionality of the platform.
11. Your rights in relation to your personal data
(a) Access and updating your personal data
You warrant that all personal data you provide us is accurate, up-to-date, and true. When you use our Services, we make best efforts to provide you with the ability to access and correct inaccurate or deficient data, subject to legal requirements.
(b) Opting out of marketing and promotional communications
When we send marketing and promotional content by email, we make best efforts to let you opt out using the instructions provided in such emails. It may take us up to 30 business days to give effect to your opt-out request. We may still send you emails about your account or any Services you have requested or received from us.
12. Deletion of an account & personal data
You may delete your account and your personal data stored with Hausvalley Private Limited by sending an email to support@hausvalley.com. We may take up to 1 month to process your request. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all Services. For avoidance of doubt, all data with respect to transactions performed by you on the Platform will be retained in accordance with applicable law.
13. Transfers of your personal data
We comply with applicable laws in respect of storage and transfers of personal data. As part of your use of the Services, the information and personal data you provide to us may be transferred to and stored in countries other than the country you are based in — for example, where our servers, vendors, partners, or service providers are located.
By submitting your information and personal data to us, you agree to the transfer, storage, and processing of such data in the manner described above.
14. Data security
We implement appropriate security measures and privacy-protective features on our Platform, including encryption, password protection, call masking, and physical security measures, to protect your personal data from unauthorised access and disclosure, and follow standards prescribed by applicable law.
Where you have chosen a password to access certain parts of the Services, you are responsible for keeping this password secret and confidential. We are not responsible for unauthorised use of your information, or for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords, or for activity on your account due to such unauthorised disclosure. If your password has been compromised in any way, please notify us promptly so we can initiate a password change.
15. Data retention
Your personal data will continue to be stored and retained by us for as long as necessary to fulfil our stated purpose(s), and for a reasonable period after termination of your account or access to the Services, to comply with our legal rights and obligations.
In some circumstances, we may aggregate your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
16. Business transitions
You are aware that in the event we go through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another organisation, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal data might be among the assets transferred.
17. User generated content
We invite you to post content on our Platform, including comments, feedback, pictures, or other information you would like made available on our Platform. Such content will be available to all visitors and may become public. We cannot prevent this information from being used in a manner contrary to this Policy, applicable laws, or your personal privacy, and we disclaim all liability (express or implied) in this regard. You agree to comply with all applicable laws in relation to content you upload or share, and you will be solely responsible for any information you publish on our Platform that violates applicable laws.

We may occasionally update this Policy. If we make changes, we will upload the revised policy on the Platform or share it with you through other means, such as email. To the extent permitted under applicable law, by using our Platform after such notice, you consent to updates made to this Policy. We encourage you to periodically review this Policy for the latest information on our privacy practices.
